Breakfast Pizza and Snow

Phew…!

What a day…off the plane early in LA this morning, the belly was rumbling, aeroplane food has improved over the years but just doesn’t last the distance, so I thought I’d call in to a restuarant for a ‘meal’…

Breakfast Pizza…as they say, ‘only in America’…the thing was it was pretty damn good (mental note* suggest to local beach cafe as new item). Scrambled eggs, bacon chopped neatly, tomatoes on a crispy thin base… I think they’re onto something…!

Then it was onto another flight…only 3.5hrs flying time out to Denver then another to Durango…
This place is beautiful…flying over the Colorado mountain ranges, I was in awe…green fields, streams running, canyons and the mountains topped with snow…Amazing!
This place is at 6200ft…and as the driver warned me of altitude sickness and staying hydrated…my mind wondered back to ‘drop bears’ and the many tales I’ve told an international visitor…I mean, how bad could it be…! (I think I’ll take his advice all the same…)

Once again, after 17.5 hrs of flying, it just reminds me how important it is to get out of your comfort zone…

I knew this would be an eye opener…but as this is just the first day…I’m pumped to take a look around…
If you read my post from yesterday about “the leader who had no title…”, getting out of your comfort zone…or facing and embracing your fears is one of the ‘big’ mentions in the book.

It was an amazing read…I finished it today on the flight into Denver, it tells a great tale of how ‘being your best’ at every moment will deliver all your worldly needs, wants and musts…

Here’s the link again…http://www.theleaderwhohadnotitle.com/
No, I’m not making anything if you click it…I’m just saying its a great read!

Enjoy…I’ve got to go check out this crazy town…

I’ll be back with more soon…stay tuned this week.
James
